Kirk Woosley Patton of Fincastle Ancestry Research is actively involved and experienced in the search for ancestors in Kentucky and throughout the United States. Kentucky was a place of destination as well as a point of migration from the 1770s through the nineteenth century for millions of Americans and immigrants moving westward through the Cumberland Gap of the Appalachians and along the Ohio River.
